Execution controls
Drag the scene to rotate. Use the mouse wheel to zoom. Parameter changes are applied automatically. Use “Pause/Resume” to stop or continue the simulation, and “Reset” to reinitialize the particle.
Graph windows
Each floating graph can be minimized, maximized, dragged, resized, or closed completely. Use these buttons to reopen a closed graph. In accumulated history mode, only the position and temperature graphs use a separate history buffer independent of the chart time window; the camera view uses its own projected trajectory trail. The PSD remains window-based, and the spectrogram tracks the PSD evolution over time. The absorption and luminescence-spectrum graphs show the spectral inputs used by the internal-temperature model.

Particles
This is a virtual imaging camera. The selected azimuth/elevation defines the optical axis; particle positions are projected onto the transverse sensor plane relative to the selected camera target. It is a diagnostic visualization only and does not modify the dynamics.
Regime presets
Select a scale regime and the simulator will switch to a stable reference case for that regime.
User saved cases
Save the current parameter set locally in this browser, export cases as portable JSON, and import them on another computer.
Data export
Spectral export
Optional JSON parameter sweep
No parameter sweep is loaded. Normal recording remains active.
In nested mode, list axes from outermost to innermost. The first axis defines the restored groups; all remaining axes are swept inside each group.
Record simulation data as CSV for quick inspection or as Float64 binary blocks plus JSON metadata for long scientific exports. Complete absorption/emission spectra can be exported independently of the normal parameter sweep mode.

Selected particle geometry and physical properties
Manual physical values are active. Particle presets only set density and refractive index; they do not select or synchronize any thermal spectrum.
Selected particle initial position
Choose how many particles are present, then choose which particle to edit. The particle physical preset only updates density and refractive index. It is intentionally independent from the laser spectral source used in the thermal model.
Paul trap + gas
Gas preset: Air / N₂. The selected gas changes molecular mass in the Epstein damping and gas thermalization estimates.
The average endcap voltage controls the axial curvature. The imbalance creates an effective axial DC field, allowing the equilibrium position to be shifted along z. The radial compensation voltages create effective DC fields Ex and Ey for radial position control. The field factors ηec and ηr can be adjusted later from FEM or experimental calibration. When Paul trap enabled is off, all RF, endcap, and radial-compensation electric forces are ignored while the configured voltages are preserved.
Thermal model
Initial temperatures
Gas and radiation heat exchange
Thermal radiation is disabled. Use gray-body for a fast phenomenological model, Rayleigh for subwavelength nanoparticles, Mie for finite-size spheres, or auto Rayleigh/Mie.
Laser thermal source
The laser spectral source defines absorption/emission inputs for internal-temperature dynamics. Built-in spectra are generic phenomenological presets, not validated material datasets. Use a user CSV/saved spectrum when calibrated experimental absorption/emission data are available.
Built-in preset absorption is active.

The same emission source supplies λf(T) for the anti-Stokes energy balance and the luminescence graph. No display-only luminescence curve is used.

COM coupling
Particle physical properties and laser spectral sources are now intentionally independent. Generic presets are only reference spectra for exploring internal-temperature dynamics. Uploaded CSV tables are automatically saved in the browser-local spectral library and should be used when calibrated experimental absorption/emission data are available. Tint remains the only internal-temperature state variable.
Feedback damping
Manual damping adds a pure viscous force −mΓmanualv without adding thermal noise. In same-value mode, one Γ is applied to x, y, and z; in individual mode, each degree of freedom has its own Γ. Automatic feedback damping is a cold-damping actuator: when enabled it applies −mΓfeedbackv on the selected axes until the velocity is below the chosen limit, with an optional maximum force cap. If the spatial gate is enabled, feedback acts only inside the ellipsoid (x²+y²)/(ηrr₀)² + z²/(ηzz₀)² ≤ 1.
Optical tweezers
IR pseudo-color
Optical stability map
Choose how many optical tweezers are available in the simulation, then select which one to edit. The simulation can use up to 10 optical tweezers. Beam colors follow the selected wavelength; UV and IR beams are displayed using pseudo-colors. The Gaussian-envelope views are visual aids based on the calculated waist w0 and Rayleigh length zR; the optical-force model is unchanged. The 3D Gaussian envelope uses projected transverse rings to make the beam volume easier to read.
